Terms and Conditions
The following terms govern your use of this Wine Time™ Limited website (the "Site"). By accessing this Site you are deemed to accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms then you may not access or use this Site.
1. Age restrictions
We will not sell liquor to anyone under the age of 18 years of age. Wine Time™ enforces a four step process to verify all people using our site are over 18 years of age (1). Upon landing on our website, users must confirm their age, if they are not over 18 years of age, they are instantly denied entry into the site; (2). The user is asked a second time in our checkout process to confirm they are over 18 years of age, if they are not over 18 years of age, we refuse the sale and the prospective customer can not proceed; (3). We only release alcohol deliveries into the courier system on a signature required service and ensure all parcels carry an Age Restricted Tiket applied for identification; (4). In accordance with New Zealand Post's policy, delivery of alcohol is exempt from the ATL (Authority to Leave) process and couriers are asked to check for identification if the prospective receiver looks under 25 years of age, if the person is under 18 years of age, they will not receive the delivery. Under New Zealand law it is illegal to supply those under 18 years of age with liquor, it is illegal to buy liquor under the age of 18 years. It is illegal to make a false declaration of age in order to purchase liquor. If you are under 18 years of age please do not attempt to use this site to purchase liquor.
2. Intellectual Property
This Site is owned and operated by Wine Time™ Limited ("Wine Time"). No material from this Site may be reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in anyway, without the prior written permission of Wine Time™. All Site materials (including without limitation all graphics, design, text, images, logos and Build Your Own Label™ functions) and the selection and arrangement thereof are copyright Wine Time™ ©. Modification of any of the materials on this Site or use of the materials for any other purpose will be a violation of Wine Time’s™ copyright and other intellectual property rights.
Wine Time™ Limited excludes all liability for infringement of third party intellectual property by your (the user’s) use of non-Wine Time™ Limited imagery, graphics, logos, trademarks and text when creating a personalised label through the Build Your Own Label™ functions of the Wine Time™ website.
Wine Time™ Limited warrants all imagery and graphics used in the Build Your Own Label™ templates have been either created by Wine Time™ staff or have been purchased through royalty free stock photo websites, and therefor Wine Time™ reserve the right to use these as elements of Build Your Own Label™ templates.

Wine Time™ only collects personal details that are provided willingly by users where it is openly requested. Wine Time™ uses "cookies" to enable efficient navigation of this Site only and not for the purpose of information gathering. Wine Time™ will take reasonable steps to ensure personal information held by it is accurate. You may edit any personal information that Wine Time™ holds on you by contacting us via phone, fax, or email. Wine Time™ may collect and publish aggregated information about usage patterns but will not disclose any personally identifiable information to third parties without your permission unless required to do so by law, court order or as requested by a governmental or law enforcement agency. Wine Time™ will not rent or sell your personal information. Communications over the internet are not secure unless they have been encrypted. Wine Time™ cannot guarantee the security of any transmission to us via email or online customer response form via the internet.

Wine Time™ reserves the right to amend these terms at its discretion at any time. Any change will be posted on this Site and will apply as from the date such amended terms are posted on this Site.
7. Online orders
Any online sales of goods and/or services by Wine Time™ are made subject to Wine Time™’s standard terms and conditions of sale at the time of sale. All prices quoted on this Site are in New Zealand Dollars. Final billing amount will be in New Zealand Dollars.
8. Jurisdiction
These terms of use shall be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
9. Delivery Methods
We ship using CourierPost within New Zealand.

If ordering more than 12 bottles you can send us an email for ordering + invoicing rather than ordering through the website, discounts may be negotiated for bulk orders.
To help ensure your parcel gets to its destination safely, we use quality eco-friendly packing materials to protect your parcel from breakage during transit. A packaging fee is applied to each individual parcel, this fee covers the cost of the protective outer shipping carton(s), bottle dividers, cushioning, packaging materials & labour.
1 bottle = $2.75
2 - 6 bottles = $3.35
7 - 12 bottles = $3.55
For urgent deliveries we use Urgent Couriers, please call Wine Time™ to discuss rates.
11. Delivery Time
All orders placed before 12:00pm are shipped the same business day; and orders placed after 12:00pm are shipped the next business day on the first courier pickup cycle. If for some reason we cannot ship your order within two business days, we will email you to let you know within 48 hours.
12. Arrival Time
If you placed your order before the daily cut off time of 12:00pm during business days, please allow 2 - 4 days for delivery. Delivery addresses located closer to WineTime's National Dispatch Wharehouse will receive their parcel(s) faster than delivery addresses in the South Island. Wine Time™ does not deliver to post offices box address, or any addresses which we deem suspicious.
13. Currency
All pricing and final billing is processed in New Zealand Dollars.
14. Credit Card Security
Our website uses SSL, does not store credit card details, and all payments are handled by DPS Payment Express. A secure, PCI compliant, third party service.
15. Warranty, Returns and Exchanges
If you buy wine that is corked we will replace or refund the purchase. If you buy wine that is not to your complete satisfaction we will happily swap the remaining bottles for another wine of equal or lesser value. For returns please email us at sales@winetime.co.nz to let us know the item(s) are on the way back to us. Please also specify whether you would like a refund or an exchange. When we receive your item(s), we will gladly exchange them or refund the credit card used for purchase, on the premise the product is unopened. Please note that you the purchaser need to report damaged goods within 24 hours of delivery.
16. Cookies
Wine Time™ uses cookies. Cookies allow Wine Time™ to remember you. If you do not use cookies you would have to confirm your age every time you visited the Site. If you prefer not to use cookies, you can set your browser preference to ‘do not accept cookies’. Most websites however, including Wine Time™’s Site, require cookies to process your orders.
17. Host Responsibility Policy
Our aim is to promote the sale of liquor in a responsible manner and encourage responsible drinking practices by our customers. Those under 18 years of age will not be sold liquor. Online customers must declare they are over 18. If a customers age is in doubt an identification check will be made prior to the sales transaction being completed. Our warehouse is secure and at tended by staff personnel at all times during business hours. Intoxicated persons are not permitted on the premises. Promotions will not excessively discount liquor.

19. Secure Shopping
At Wine Time™ Ltd, we understand your concern about online security. Your online order is secure with Wine Time™ Ltd because we have partnered with DPS Payment Express as our online commerce provider. DPS Payment Express use their own Secure Sales Server technology (S3) on every transaction that we process. Your credit card and personal information are encrypted and sent securely to their servers for processing.
Privacy Policy
At Wine Time™ Ltd, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.
